Cheon Hui Handmade Noodle in Seoul; (千禧) 천희수타면

After googling some handmade noodle shops in Seoul, we decided to try the Noodle restaurant named Cheon Hui (千禧) 천희수타면
It is operated by a couple who the wife is Chinese and they are very friendly and kind.
It made me little easier to communicate as I have very little knowledge of the Korean language.

The menu is on the wall

The restaurant is located in the office building area and it can be reached by using subway station Line 9 to Gayang station and take the exit number 7 and walk straight toward big Gangseogu Office Crossing. After crossing the road, walk around 1 minute and you will find it on your left side.

The restaurant is spacious and very clean ambiance with few decorations with the Chinese touch.

Before we went to this restaurant, I have prepared to translate the menu into English so we have a few pictures of the menu. The restaurant serves Chinese authentic meals with little Korean art to adjust the local taste.

It was Sunday lunchtime, the restaurant is not pretty crowded. We can really enjoy the meal and atmosphere. The menu is on the wall. After taking our order, she served us few side dishes.
Variety of side dishes to welcome us
The Chef prepared the handmade noodles on the spot, we can see how he pulls the noodle dough and hits to the table and pulls it again till the dough shapes noodle. It is pretty awesome.

We ordered the two types of noodle which are highly recommended, deep fried chicken in spicy chili sauce and juicy Chinese dumplings.
Handmade noodle in black soybean sauce (su ta jajang)

Handmade noodle in spicy seafood soup (su ta haemul jampong)

Deep fried chicken in spicy chili sauce (gan pu gi)
Boiled juicy pork dumpling
Shrimp Fried rice served with black soy bean sauce (jajang)
The best one that I can summarize is the handmade noodle has an excellent texture with a chewy touch, not too thin and not too thick. On top of that, The handmade Chinese steamed dumplings were very juicy and not as dry as the Korean mandu

The owner informed us that we have to mix the noodle through the black soybean sauce so It tasted better. It tastes super good.

They serve Chinese Tsing Tao beer or local beer which is good to accompany the spicy chicken.
